A Friend of Dogs with 2 dogs says about Vet Medica: ”I would recommend Vet Medica with no reservations, they have a very pro-active approach. The practice is well run and has x-ray and routine blood analysis facilities on site in Budva, apart from Rabies which has to be sent away. They are also equipped for surgical procedures in a clinically clean environment. All animal records are computerized. Although they don’t have a chipping device as this has not been required in Montenegro I would expect it would be provided if the governing law is changed. Blagoja speaks excellent English, Suzana has some basic English. The Technicians all have some English. The most rewarding aspect is that they have always remembered my dog’s names!”
Škaljari b.b.; Kotor (turn left just before the tunnel to Tivat, then immediately left again).

A Friend of Dogs with 7 dogs says about Vetport: “ I have always been very happy with the level of care that Relja has given my animals. Although he may lack the “bedside manner” that we are used to in the UK his diagnostic ability has always been excellent and he has successfully treated a couple of my dogs for complicated illnesses and emergencies. Relja and his wife Goca, who works alongside him, both speak good English. They can provide all routine and emergency care, x-ray facilities, ultrasound, surgery, including specialist orthopedic surgery for broken bones, and full diagnostics. They can also provide microchipping, vaccinations and blood testing and complete all forms needed to take a dog to the UK.
A Friend of Dogs says about Mont Vet: “This is a clean and friendly vet practice with all modern facilities available. They also work with the local dog shelter and so have experience of dealing with stray dogs. They saved my cat – now 10 years old – when she was a tiny sickly abandoned kitten and there was no-one else prepared to try and treat her!“

A Friend of Dogs says about Mont Vet: They have an xray machine (€30 per x-ray) and do microchipping. There is a vet and technician. They are located just off the roundabout in Meljine – the turning towards Bosnia and then first left, on the corner. They are extremely professional and efficient vets – they did a fantastic job of sterilizing our dog when she was a pup. Bosko can come across as a little brusque and not very warm, but is a good vet. Duska is sweet and very helpful.
